Criteria: Quality of academic performance and service; extent of involvement in research and professional activities; doctoral student interested in a career in higher education.

Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Network in Higher Education 

Criteria: The GPPD Career Development Grant provides an opportunity for graduate students, professional students, and postdocs who have demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and are exploring a career in educational development to attend the POD Network conference and become a member of POD at no cost. Each applicant was evaluated by members of the GPPD Special Interest Group on four criteria: 1) teaching experience and effectiveness, 2) demonstrated commitment to teacher development, 3) relevance of attending the POD Network conference to one’s future career plans, and 4) demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in education.
Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT)

Criteria: Currently a member of AECT, a member of OTP, and has research and/or practice interest in organizational training and performance.
